The organizers of Malta Fashion Week and Malta Fashion Awards would like to express their appreciation of the Labour Party’s electoral manifesto pledge to support Maltese fashion talent.

This year’s edition being held on Saturday 11th May, marks the 15th anniversary of Malta Fashion Awards. Over these years the event celebrated many individuals who have made successful careers for themselves in international fashion. It has grown steadily and today enjoys vast international recognition and exposure as part of Malta Fashion Week.

This is the first time that a political party has included the fashion industry in its electoral programme. With more government support, the industry as a whole will continue to flourish for the benefit of all those who depend on it, and can continue to attract new forms of trade and tourism to Malta.
