#MALTAFASHIONWEEK2022 – Malta Fashion Week supports Ukrainian Fashion Week!
The Malta Fashion Week 2022 Edition will be held in Valletta at the Grand Harbour Terrace, on the rooftop of the Mediterranean Conference Centre.
We are proud to confirm that we have also invited designer Nadya Dzyak who is a resident of Ukrainian Fashion Week to form part of our lineup. Severe war in Ukraine has prevented Ukrainian Fashion Week from being held this autumn but after discussions with Ukrainian Fashion Week and with a complete understanding of how important it is for an artist to be given their chance to showcase on an international stage, Malta Fashion Week has elected to offer support with this warm invitation for Ukrainian designer Nadya Dzyak.
This was done in spite that the road to this event has been challenging; after two years of limited opportunities for the local entertainment industry as well as Maltese fashion artists to grow and evolve, the bounce back is not an immediate one. Nonetheless, the team behind Malta Fashion Week 2022, all the designers participating, makeup artists, hair stylists, photographers, fashion stylists and the entire backstage crew are as committed as ever to making this event the show-stopping success it has always been.
NADYA DZYAK is a Ukrainian fashion brand founded in 2008, known for a combination of architectural forms and feminine aesthetics. Its transparent elements have brought the brand international popularity and recognition. Kylie Minogue, Maye Musk, Jamie Chung, Kelly Rowland have all worn NADYA DZYAK’s dresses. Every NADYA DZYAK collection has its own unique features but all of them are united by the brand’s commitment to pleated details, translucent fabrics and multi-layered decors. NADYA DZYAK collections embody feminine strength, giving women a sense of confidence that awakens their inner energy
