Day 2 of Malta Fashion Week 2024 continued to captivate with a focus on emerging talent and artistic expression, held at the beautiful Biskuttin Gardens.
Opening Show: MCAST Fashion Graduates
The evening began with an impressive showcase by MCAST Fashion Graduates Gabriel, Miriana, Nicolai, Radina, Yentl, and Isaac. These talented graduates presented six individual artistic showcases, each a culmination of their studies, highlighting their creativity and innovative designs.
Bajja’s Beneath the Blue
The second show of the night, “Beneath the Blue” by sisters Vincienne and Samaria Bezzina, featured flowing kaftans and dresses in beautiful patterns and luxurious fabrics. Their collection captured the essence of elegance and comfort, drawing inspiration from the sea’s tranquillity.
Yana’s Jewellery: Monochromatic
Yana’s Jewellery, presenting for the sixth time at Malta Fashion Week, stunned the audience with “Monochromatic.” This collection broke the mould with astonishing metal statement pieces adorning the models’ necks and even heads, showcasing Yana’s distinctive and bold design aesthetic.
Campari After Party
The night concluded with the much-anticipated Campari after-party. DJ Alessia De Martino spun an eclectic mix of tunes, keeping the energy high and the celebration going well into the night.
