On Day 2 of Malta Fashion Week PARASCANDALO presented Vanity Rebels. The atmosphere was great both on and off the catwalk, there has been quite a bit of hype and enthusiasm for this collection. The audience was definitely not disappointed. The inspiration for this collection is mainly the vanity of youth and pop culture and presented an exciting mix of different fabrics and textures.
The t-shirt has been re-introduced into this collection, this time around with some super-interesting graphical prints. These t-shirts were partnered with deconstructed denim jackets, comfy sweats and one-off unique patchwork pieces. The innovative hairstyles that really captured the mood and aesthetic of the collection were led by lead hairstylist Lee Grixti whilst the makeup looks were led by Gia Marie Waits.
