Throughout the months leading up to Malta Fashion Week, we are shining the limelight on a few of our local designers who have been showcased over the last few years and we will be showing you an exclusive sneak peek into their upcoming collections.
Our tenth look is at Yana’s Jewellery with ‘ Mystical Branches’.
Mystical Branches is inspired by some of Gustav Klimpt’s works, mainly his famous mural known as ‘The Tree of Life’.
The Tree of Life and its meanings are known to stem from ancient mythologies. One of its meanings symbolises a correlation between the Earth, the life and the afterworld. Everyone can relate to it as it is deeply rooted in one’s own existence. Trees may look similar but no branch or texture are identical. They grow and they become unique in their own ways.
In this collection, Yana’s Jewellery shares one of the Tree of Life’s messages: ‘No matter how different we can be, we all belong in one universe and share our unique Individuality.
