Throughout the months leading up to Malta Fashion Week, we are shining the limelight on a few of our local designers who have been showcased over the last few years and we will be showing you an exclusive sneak peek into their upcoming collections.
Our ninth look is at DESIREE with Less is (not) More: the Maltese Edition – by DESIREE.
Is the term Less is More always true? How much does it apply to you in; Design, Fashion, Finance, Relationships, Fitness, Health, and last of all, culture and national heritage?
The collection challenges and toys with the over-used term ”Less Is More”, a phrase adopted by architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1947, which was originally associated with Minimalist architecture.
